Girl Power 2 Cure is fighting every day to:
- Support and encourage Rett Syndrome families
- Educate, raise awareness, and promote literacy for individuals with Rett Syndrome and other complex-needs conditions
- Raise research dollars to support cure-focused and symptom-relieving treatments for our loved ones

The Girl Power 2 Cure February giveaway is brought to you by ARK Therapeutic! ARK has generously donated a gift pack of drinking cup products to make every-day life a bit easier for our children! ARK Therapeutic was started by a Speech and Language Pathologist and her engineer husband who identified a need and developed an innovative solution! We are so grateful for their support!

January was an outstanding month for Rett University! With funding provided by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Rett U instructor Kourtney Barnum traveled to Gainesville, Florida to make Harper Youman’s wish come true. For two days, Kourtney worked with Harper and her educational team, as well as other specialists in the Alachua County school district. Check out the ABC Channel 20 WJCB news coverage HERE!
Disney Princess Private One-on-One Consults
We will offer Private One-on-One Consults in Orlando on Friday, February 21st. Register for a session with either Rett University Co-Founder, Susan Norwell or Rett University Coach, Kourtney Barnum.

Rett University’s Susan Norwell has reviewed the new book “Comprehensive Literacy for All: Teaching Students with Significant Disabilities to Read and Write”. Developing communication and literacy skills is critical for students with complex needs. Click Here to read her review.

MEET THE FAMILY – The Stumps!
Mallorie, Nathan, beautiful Maylee (who has Rett Syndrome), and sweet baby Mollie. They are #MayleeStrong. With all of the ups and downs that Rett Syndrome brings, they hold onto hope and strength for their amazing little girl, keeping her healthy, strong and always moving forward.

Sara Campbell Give Back Day
Sara Campbell simply believes in people helping one another. They strive to be the best neighbors possible in every community location. To this end, the Winter Park, FL store will proudly host a give-back event on Sunday, February 9th from 1 – 4pm, honoring our special Rett Warrior, Brooklyn.15% of all sales will benefit Girl Power 2 Cure.

Join us for another Kendra Gives Back Event in Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, April 30th from 6 – 8pm. They will also take phone orders at 904-256-9435. 20% of all proceeds will benefit Girl Power 2 Cure.

2020 Disney Princess Race Weekend is less than 2 weeks away!
Let’s get ready to cheer for 150 Team GP2C Runners as they put their feet to the pavement for those who can’t!
Here are some great ways you can support the team:
Volunteering
GP2C will host a booth at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, and we would love for you to volunteer. The booth is open Thursday, February 20th through Saturday, February 22nd. To volunteer, CLICK HERE!
Cheering
Visit our GP2C finish line tent at all the races (Friday – Sunday). We are always looking for supporters to cheer on our runners! Come show your support and see what the runs are all about! For more details, email amei@gp2c.org
Annual Celebration Dinner
Join us for a fun-filled evening as we celebrate our amazing team and spend time with some amazing people from the Rett community.
