We’re here to cure girls with Rett Syndrome. We find her, we help her, but our ultimate and urgent goal is to CURE HER. Raising financial support is not easy, but has never been so crucial to finding a cure for Rett Syndrome and possibly other neurological disorders. Research has shown it is possible to rescue these girls! What a truly incredible possibility.
Girl Power 2 Cure has partnered with Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) to help fund their research for a cure. They are, “confident that effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure, will come. Our confidence stems from scientific evidence. The fact that there is no degeneration in the brain sets the disorder apart from many other neurological diseases, and the dramatic reversibility of symptoms in the mouse model brings optimism to families and enthusiasm to the research community.”
The funds raised through a portion of our campaigns and events are granted to RSRT for their work to cure our girls.
Donating to GP2C’s research efforts is the best way you can CURE HER. In addition, money raised from our most popular campaigns fund RSRT:
In February 2013, our two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. Girl Power 2 Cure (GP2C), their staff, members, and supporters, have become a beacon of light for me and my family. They bring an air of excitement, youthfulness, and fun to a very serious diagnosis.
