Livvy’s smiles light up any room. Livvy is 9 years old now, and completely
beautiful. We first heard the words Rett Syndrome when Livvy was 4 years
old, I remember it so clearly as it was just before Christmas, 2003. In a
way it was a relief as for the previous 2 years we had watched our little girl
lose the ability to talk, use her hands and then finally walk.
We have been through many struggles since then; her seizures began
with a vengeance. But throughout all of this Livvy has smiled. She is a
amazing girl who is a inspiration to many. Livvy has 3 sisters, who
completely adore her and have to fight for television rights.
She loves, Bear in the big blue house, Fireman Sam, and Postman Pat.
She obviously likes men in uniforms. She attends a special school 5 days
a week and loves it, all the teachers love her to.
In the last 4 months Livvy has took independent steps, after we were told
that she wouldn’t walk again. With Livvy we never say never, as she is a
true fighter.
